How to choose the
right yoga style
The style names sound intimidating, but behind them are just different rhythms. Here's how to choose, briefly.
If you want to start gently
Hatha is the classic choice: slow, with explanations, right for a first contact. You learn the basics with no one rushing you.
If you want movement and energy
Vinyasa and Power are dynamic, with flows that warm you up and get you moving. Ideal if you also want a bit of physical effort.
You're not choosing for life. Try two or three styles and your body will tell you.
If you want quiet
Yin and the relaxation classes hold postures long and calm you deeply. Perfect after a hard week or as a balance to active practices.
