Your rights during questioning
If you are called in for questioning, you have rights the law guarantees you: the right to be assisted by a lawyer, the right to remain silent and the right not to incriminate yourself. No one can force you to give statements without a lawyer.
These rights are set out in the Code of Criminal Procedure. The most important advice: ask for a lawyer before declaring anything. We can assist you in criminal law.
