What to do when water is leaking in the house

When you see water where it shouldn't be, the first thing is to shut off the main valve. It's usually in the bathroom, at the apartment's entrance, or in the yard box at a house. It's good to know where it is before you need it.

Then turn off the boiler and, if the water is near outlets, cut the power to that area too. Mop up the water, so it doesn't reach the neighbors, and call me. You can also see how I find hidden leaks.
