Our story

It began from a lack of humanity

Vasile Marin founded Casa Funerară Pietas in 2009, after going through a loss himself in which he felt more like a source of profit than a supported family. He wanted a funeral home that treats grief with respect, not as a business.

Today we are a small team, available around the clock in Ploiești and Prahova. We take care of everything, from bringing into care and paperwork to the ceremony, and we always state prices upfront. For us, every family is treated as we would wish to be treated ourselves.
