A well-kept boiler uses less gas, breaks down less often and lasts longer. I recommend a service once a year, ideally in the fall, before the cold season.
I clean the burner and heat exchanger, check the pressure, the draft and the safety devices, and tell you honestly if anything needs replacing. I do the work legally, as an ANRE-authorized plumber.
