Sometimes a root canal done years ago starts to hurt again or gets infected. Before removing the tooth, a re-treatment is worth trying: we redo the old treatment, clean the canals again and seal them properly.
It's a delicate procedure, worked under the microscope, with patience. Often it saves a tooth that seemed lost.
