For a missing tooth you have two main solutions. Here they are, compared honestly, so you choose well.

The implant

The implant replaces the tooth without touching its neighbors and is the most durable option. It needs more time and enough bone, but the result feels and behaves like a natural tooth.

The bridge

The bridge rests on the neighboring teeth, which it has to grind down. It's done faster and is more affordable, but it sacrifices two healthy teeth to replace the missing one.

An implant costs more today, but it's often cheaper ten years on, because it doesn't touch the healthy teeth.
