Booking & costs
How do I book?
Online, right from the site, choosing the doctor and time that suit you, or by phone. We confirm your appointment within one business day.
How much does a treatment cost?
After the check-up you get a clear treatment plan, with all the costs on show, before we start. The prices on the services page are starting points.
Can the payment be split?
For larger treatments, we can split the payment into stages. We talk about it openly when we set the treatment plan.
Can I choose the doctor I see?
Yes. You can choose the doctor you want right when you book, based on specialty. If you're not sure, we guide you to the right doctor.
Do I pay for the consultation if I don't do the treatment?
The consultation and diagnosis are paid separately, but with no obligation to continue. You leave with a clear plan and decide at your own pace.
Treatments
How long does a dental implant take?
It depends on the case. Usually, from placing the implant to the final crown, a few months pass, with healing in between. We tell you exactly at the surgery consultation.
Does a root canal hurt?
No. It's done with anesthesia and, here, under the microscope, for precision. Most often, it removes a pain rather than causing one.
Fixed braces or clear aligners — which should I choose?
It depends on the case, lifestyle and budget. At the orthodontic assessment we tell you honestly what suits you, with prices and durations for each.
How long does teeth whitening last?
Generally from one year to a few, depending on habits (coffee, tea, smoking). It isn't permanent, but it can be easily refreshed.
Veneers or crowns — what's the difference?
Veneers are thin shells on the face of the tooth, for aesthetics. A crown covers the whole tooth and protects it, when it's weakened or root-treated. We tell you which fits.
Can an old root canal still be saved?
Often, yes, through a re-treatment. We redo the old treatment under the microscope, as an alternative to removing the tooth. We tell you honestly if it's worth trying.
Pain & anesthesia
Will it hurt?
We do everything we can so that you do not feel pain: effective anesthesia, gentle movements and patience. We explain every step, so there are no surprises.
How long does the anesthesia last?
Generally a few hours. We recommend not eating until it wears off completely, so you don't bite yourself by accident. It fades gradually, with no unpleasant effects.
Can I drive after an extraction or anesthesia?
After a simple extraction or a usual local anesthetic, yes. For larger procedures with sedation, we recommend you come accompanied. We tell you beforehand.
I'm pregnant — can I have treatments?
Yes, check-ups and urgent treatments are safe, especially in the second trimester. Tell us from the start; we adapt the treatment and avoid what isn't recommended.
Emergencies
Do you take dental emergencies?
Yes. If you have severe pain or a broken tooth, call us — we try to see you the same day, during our hours.
My tooth broke — what do I do?
Call us as soon as possible. If you have the fragment, keep it in milk or saline and bring it. Often the tooth can be rebuilt.
I have severe pain at night — what do I do until morning?
A usual painkiller and a cold compress on the cheek help temporarily. Avoid heat on the area. Call us early in the morning, so we can see you as soon as possible.
A filling or crown fell out — is it urgent?
It's not a major emergency, but book as soon as you can, so the tooth doesn't deteriorate. If the crown fell out, keep it and bring it.
Children
From what age do I bring my child to the dentist?
We recommend the first visit early, around age one or when the first teeth appear. Not for treatment, but so the little one gets used to it, relaxed.
Do you treat children without scaring them?
Yes, we have a doctor dedicated to children, gently and playfully. We want the little one to grow fond of the dentist from the start, not afraid.
What is a dental sealant?
A thin protective layer applied to the grooves of the molars, which prevents cavities from forming. It's a simple prevention, done with play and patience.
Do decayed baby teeth need to be treated?
Yes. Even though they'll fall out, an untreated cavity hurts, can get infected and can affect the permanent tooth underneath. We treat them gently, with patience.
Hygiene & prevention
How often should I come for a check-up?
We recommend a check-up every six months. That way we catch small cavities early, easy and cheap to fix, before they become big problems.
How often is scaling done?
Every six months, ideally together with the check-up. It's the simplest and cheapest insurance for healthy gums and clean teeth.
How do I prevent cavities at home?
Correct brushing twice a day, floss daily, moderation with sweets and acidic drinks, plus periodic check-ups. We show you exactly how, at the consultation.
My gums bleed — is it serious?
It's the sign of gingivitis, most often from tartar. Caught early, it clears up completely, with correct brushing and a scaling. Don't ignore it.
What is Air Flow?
A fine jet of powder and water that cleans the stains from coffee, tea or smoking, which classic scaling doesn't remove. It leaves the teeth visibly cleaner.
